Good friends & injoy's completion

(download)

Here's a post I'm excited about! So a few hours after work, I decided to make the most out of my uneventful Friday night and go for a bike ride. My mom bought me a Lowepro Slingshot 200AW or something like that for our trip to the Phillipines in July. I was pumped to ride around with this thing on. I'm still getting used to it though, a little awkward because I have no torso.

Anyways. So I float on down to injoy studio and run into my friend Jef and his boy. They gladly escorted me and fended off the night walkers. I snagged my tripod and slithered down to the marina. It was a bit cold and I didn't want nobody eye'n my fliff so I headed back to the studio to wait for my girlfriend to get off work. A few friends near downtown and wanted to check out the studio. I gave them a brief tour. There happened to be one strobe laying out so I decided to practice a bit.

I was excited to pull these shots up and edit them the way I like. I used Photo Mechanic to sort the photos and then imported them into Lightroom for some quick adjustments. I then went back into Photo Mechanic and transfered the photos to Photoshop. It's a couple of steps to photoshop but it's actually very fast. It takes a bit for Lightroom to load the photos in Photoshop, but in Photo Mechanic it's instantaneous.

So here's the end result! A few goofy shots of my friends. Nic Bum (moving Tuesday :S ) Tabitha, Road rash Ren, Giles and Kinley.

The studio is finally complete and everything is put together. I'm ready to start shooting my butt off and make a comfortable living. (Doesn't take much...) If you dig these shots as much as I do, you should book a shoot with me!

The studio is opened from 10am - 5pm
